Not much to report on guys. I have spent the last month working non-stop at school and I have since then also caught the flu. Needless to say I'm not happy though I am recovering. I just wanted to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year! I'll be back in Edinburgh from the 23rd till 2nd of Jan, so there might be some trips to open mics me thinks!

Apart from that I please find Wrong With Me here and let others hear it!

Hey guys as you can see I've done a little make over on the site. So not only has the site had a redesign but I have also added new photos and more importantly, new music. The tracks will come from my first officail four track E.P entitled 'Blizzard'. Songs include 'Wrong With Me' and re-workings of 'She', 'Red' and 'Try Again'. - Update - Due to other comitments I have not had time to record the songs the way I had wished. Instead find an early, acoustic copy of Wrong With Me here.

Not only do we have all that here we also have a new lyrics page, a new RSS feed for your web browsers, new biography, torrent and mailling list support, podcasting and tons more. Not only that guys we've got some gigs lined up!

So its been about three months since I wrote anything here for which I'm sorry. I recently finished my teacher training program which has taken much of my time in since I've been in London. But now thats out the way I can start focusing a we bit more on the music. I'm going to be recording at least one new acoustic song today that will be up on my myspace account for you all to download. The track is called 'Crimson Lines' and I'm quite proud of it.

On other news I recently went to audition as a singer for a new London based rock band and if I'm in the news will break this week. Hopefully I'll be in since it'll be nice change working with other folks again. So stay tuned!

On other news I'll back in Edinburgh on the 9th of August for two weeks so if anybody fancy catching up I'll be about possible at some open mic nights too.

Hey you crazy cats just to let you know I've uploaded another song to the old myspace profile! Like 'Try Again' it s good old rock tune and its a very rough mix but its really there for you guys to hear which direction I'd like to be going in which of course is RAWK! Some of the older fans might have heard this song before but this a total reworking of it and as such I would like to also dedicate to a good friend of mine Mr. Whipp - The FIRST Southern Gentlemen. Without you mate I wouldn't be rocking as much I do!

Hey all, hope you are all doing well! I just thought I'd let you all know that I've updated my songs list and put up a new song - 'Try Again' on my myspace site. Its still a rough mix but its there to show you the generally direction I'm wanting to go. Those that know my back catalogue will release that this song is an old one however I've done a bit of a shake up with it. you can tell listening to it were I want to go musically which is generally this....ROCK! So I hope you enjoy the song as is but I know theres couple mix issues. But don't worry folks this is just a rough demo! Complaints, comments and criticisms are welcome! I came across this nice little magizine the other day through a friend of mine on myspace (link pending) that gives alot of handy guides on forging a career out of this crazy thing called music. The magizine is called Computer Music and the edition is called 'The musicians guide to the net'. Yeah I know what you're thinking but I was surprised to find lots of extra info I didn't know and also came with a good selection of free and demo software that would come in useful on a musician online career.

Hello there folks just thought I would explain the sudden disappearance of over 800 of my 'friends' on myspace. I've decided to stop just accepting random adds unless there is a comment with the add that is relevant. I'd much rather have a close groups of friends that know me and bands/artists I have played with over the years that might actually be interested in hearing what happening in the land of Calhoun! So along with this reductions of friends I'm also taking most of the Calhoun myspace site offline till I actually have something to update. I don't think its fair to my friends and folk who dig my music to keep coming back to nothing. When I have something to tell you will all be the first to know!

Hey folks, hope you are all doing well. Sorry I've not been keeping you all up to date but there has been little to report. I've decided to take a break from music until the summer. I've been training to be a teacher and I can't balance my time to work on both. I've written a few new tracks and will record them soon but I won't post them till Im back again.
